Live Sound

On this page, you’ll find examples of my experience working across a range of disciplines within the live sound industry.

In 2025, I worked as the monitor engineer on the main stage at Deer Shed Festival, where I mixed monitors for many of the acts across the weekend. I handled a combination of wedges and IEMs and provided support for touring engineers.

BBC 6 Music Festival 2024 - FOH Tech

In 2024, I worked as the FOH tech for the BBC 6 Music Festival where my responsibilities included re‑hanging and the in‑house K1 system, integrating touring consoles into the PA, and mixing the support acts throughout the event. Because the event was broadcast live on the BBC, the schedule was tightly controlled, so our team had to stay organised and keep changeovers running smoothly to make sure we went on and off air at the correct times.

Halestorm UK Arena Tour 2025 - PA Tech

I worked as a PA tech for Halestorms UK arena tour with an L-Acoustics K1 rig. I was responsible for deploying the subs and fills each day and building the core PA system infrastructure for the show. My role also included managing the truck during load‑ins and load‑outs, making sure the local crew distributed the gear to where it needed to be each day and also packed the truck according to our truck pack plan.

I was the lead patch tech for the Live at the Piece Hall summer shows, working with major acts like Biffy Clyro, Underworld, and Korn, as well as looking after support bands. With very limited time for support act soundchecks, staying organised and working efficiently was crucial to keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule.
